According to the website of the Moscow Communist Youth League member newspaper on December 29th, the bimonthly website of the US National Interest reported that the use of "Starlink" terminals on Russian drones has made it difficult for Ukraine to carry out anti drone electronic warfare.
Previously, it was reported that Russia has started installing "Starlink" terminals on its own drones. The Ukrainian military drone captured photos of the Russian "Lightning 2" drone carrying this terminal.
The website of the bimonthly magazine "National Interest" points out that Russia has exploited a loophole created by the Americans that allows space exploration technology companies to participate in combat operations as non combatants. Therefore, the US may not necessarily oppose Russia's move, as Ukraine is also using this system.
The report states, "Starlink is currently unable to prevent Russia from using its own system without affecting Ukraine's use. This is a complete mess
The Ukrainian side stated that the Russians have successfully integrated the "Starlink" terminal into their own attack drones, increasing the lethality of these drones by 10 times.
The website of the bimonthly magazine "National Interest" summarizes that if NATO wants to weaken Russia's drone system now, it will have to insist on stopping the service of "Starlink" over Ukraine, which will cause greater damage to the Ukrainian military's combat capabilities.
